Congratulations to Mr. Gorman and the Engineering 2 students who were featured last week on WBZ-TV, CBS Boston News for their “Eye On Education” segment. This segment highlighted the incredible achievements of Mr. Gorman's Engineering 2 class, which recently earned runner-up in an international competition for 2022 World Space Week. It also covered the unique and amazing collaboration between our students and bluShift Aerospace on their MAREVL 2.0 engine, which is currently under development. On May 13, the Best Buddies group will be walking at Polar Park in Worcester to raise money for Best Buddies International and awareness of inclusion. School leaders encourage everyone to join them. Henry P. Clough Elementary
The Department of Mental Health has launched a new Behavioral Health Help Line that people can call or text at 833-773-2445. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week in more than 200 languages. The help line can help individuals and families navigate the behavioral health system and access treatment, including mobile crisis services. Memorial Elementary
Specialists Night will be returning to Memorial School this year on May 25. Join in for a fun evening showcasing the children’s work from their specialist classes. Music and physical education will have specific times designated by last name and grade level. Visit art, library, and technology showcases at your leisure.
