Nipmuc High School

Nipmuc congratulates Luke Venable for being named Worcester County Superintendent Association student scholar for the Class of 2023. Luke was honored last week during a luncheon at Holy Cross for his academic excellence.

Freshmen Jessica Casey and Emma Watts participated in the 2023 Nike Nationals Indoor Invitational at the Armory in New York City this past weekend. Jessica and Emma qualified for this race through their excellent indoor track seasons this past winter. Emma finished with a time of 1:04.6 while Jessica ran a 1:05.2 placing 34th and 35th respectively - a landmark accomplishment for both runners.

Nipmuc administration congratulates all of the DECA students who competed in the state competition in Boston in March. Nipmuc students enjoyed a lot of success where all of their hard work paid off in the results. Sofia Geremia, Nipmuc Junior, was one of six students out of eighteen across the state elected to Massachusetts DECA's State Action Team 65.There were many students who received recognition, medals and over 30 students qualified to compete in Orlando in April. Special thanks to Mr. Caprarella and Mr. Kelly who worked throughout the year with the DECA students, and to the chaperones who attended the event and made it possible for the students.
