On Thursday, May 23 at noon, Milford High School proudly held a "Future Teacher" Signing Ceremony in the Teacher Resource Center to honor eight graduating seniors who have committed to pursuing a career in education. The students are Ben Parson, Camille Bonina, Britney Rankins, Eliana Pires, Brianna Reutlinger, Anna Julia Candida, Maeve Driscoll, and Sarah Ventura. These students, along with their parents, gathered to celebrate this significant milestone. Each student identified a teacher who profoundly influenced their decision to enter the teaching profession, and these inspirational educators were also invited to join the celebration.

Josh Otlin, the principal of Milford High School, served as the Master of Ceremonies for the event. The program included opening remarks and a speech on the "Journey of a Teacher."

The Future Teachers Pledge was led by guidance department representatives with all students taking the pledge together. A collective signing of the pledge, followed by a photo session with family members and influential teachers took place.

The "Future Teacher" Signing Recognition Ceremony underscores the Milford Public School District's commitment to fostering a supportive and empowering environment for its students, faculty, and staff, preparing them to meet the challenges of an increasingly complex world.
