Milford Family & Community Network CFCE (MFCN CFCE):

May was a busy month for the Milford Family and Community Network CFCE. The last monthly parent program for the Spring, "Desserts and Discussions" was well attended by parents and caregivers looking to connect and build relationships. The Intergenerational Playgroup held at Cornerstone at Milford brought smiles to the senior's faces as well as the children, and the eight week series of Lap Babies for some of the youngest members of our community was a success.

On May 23 the MFCN CFCE hosted the first Community Helper Day in the parking lot of Sacred Heart Church in Milford. Participating children enjoyed meeting local first responders, the Milford Police K9 unit and Piper, the support dog.  Lastly, the 28th annual Southwick's Zoo field trip was fun for all that attended.

MFCN CFCE is excited to announce the Summer Playgroup schedule for 2024.  Six weeks of playgroups are planned for Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m., starting on July 10 and ending on August 15.
