UPTON - Boy Scout Troop 132 of Upton is proud to announce its newest Eagle Scouts: Jake Giancola, Will Spargo, and Ty Sullivan.
Jake Giancola, the Troop’s 121st Eagle Scout, is a senior at Blackstone Valley Technical High School. For his Eagle project, Jake built a bocce ball court for St. Gabriel’s church.
Will Spargo, a senior at Nipmuc Regional High School, is the Troop’s 122nd Eagle. Will built a storage closet for the food pantry at the United Parish of Upton.
Ty Sullivan, the Troop's 123rd Eagle, is also a senior at Nipmuc Regional High School. Ty built helmet racks for the softball fields in Mendon for his Eagle project.
In addition to completing their projects, each Scout earned a minimum of 21 merit badges, advanced through six ranks, and held various leadership positions in the troop. Their journey culminated with an Eagle Board of Review where they were interviewed by local members of the community and Scout officials.
Congratulations to these young men on this incredible accomplishment!
