Committee members sought, new proposal expected for fall town meeting

Despite the recent adverse vote at the polls, there continues to be an ongoing need for a new Senior and Community Center. The proposal had been based on 10 years of work by two separate committees that included input from seniors, several architects, and townspeople.

The Mendon Select Board has therefore charged the current committee with formulating a revised proposal to address the need. The proposal will be brought before the voters in the fall.
