The Milford Police Department is warning residents about a new scam that appears to be from Mass DOT and E-ZPass.

If you receive a text message similar to this one, do not click on the link. The message has the MassDOT logo at the top and says, “Your recent journey on the Massachusetts E-ZPass toll roads has resulted in a charge of $4.15. Settle your balance promptly to prevent any additional late fees. To make your payment, visit the following link. https://massezdrive.net”
