‘Family-friendly’ displays should stay up through October 

The Mendon Cultural Council will hold a town-wide scarecrow contest this fall. 

The MCC will accept registration from Sept. 8 to Sept. 28. Residents can register by emailing the Cultural Council [email protected] or by obtaining a registration form at Mendon Town Hall after Sept. 1. 

Completed forms can be dropped off in an entrant box at Town Hall. 

All scarecrows can be displayed starting Oct. 1. Judging will be complete, and winners will be announced on Oct. 20. 

The MCC asks that all displays be family-friendly, and that all participants keep their scarecrows displayed for the entire month of October.
