This past month was a busy time at the Milford Family & Community Network CFCE! In addition to our weekly registered playgroups, we held four amazing programs for our families. Early in the month we taught children yoga poses and deep breathing exercises in our Find Your Calm program.

Children and seniors enjoyed making their own instruments and singing along with a live guitarist, Alleigh Crocker at our Intergenerational Play program. We had a wonderful music and movement class with our friends at Cornerstone at Milford.

Our monthly facilitator-led program, Desserts and Discussions, engaged numerous parents and caregivers in lively discussions about the challenges and successes of parenting.

Children and caregivers spent time in a fun cooking class in early December! Our Mini Chefs developed a positive connection to different foods, gained practical experience, and worked on hand-eye coordination.

Do you have a little one at home from birth through age 5? Are you interested in participating in our weekly playgroups? As our Session I playgroups are coming to a close at the beginning of January, we would like to welcome you to register for Session II playgroups that run from the end of January through the end of May. Playgroup registration begins January 6, 2025 in the Milford Family & Community Network Office. Please call our office for more information, or if you would like to be added to our waitlist. We call families on the waitlist when we know we will have absences in one of our groups.
